Paul Pluschkell, founder and CEO of spigit, is also a managing partner of Raven Holdings, an emerging technology management fund. Before founding spigit, Mr. Pluschkell served as president and CEO of HyperFeed Technologies, which focused on building low latency ticker plants for exchanges and hedge funds, from 2003 to 2006. Mr. Pluschkell founded MXnet, a financial market extranet, in 1996, and then sold it to IXNet/IPC. After the sale, Mr. Pluschkell served as an IXNet officer; the company was sold to Global Crossing in 1999. Mr. Pluschkell became executive vice president of sales, products, and marketing for Global Center, a Global Crossing subsidiary. Following the subsidiary's sale to Exodus Communications in 2001, Mr. Pluschkell became president of broadband at Global Crossing, where he served until 2002. Mr. Pluschkell received his BS degree from Eastern Illinois University and completed master's course work at the University of Dallas.
Padmanabh Dabke, spigit's founder and CTO, is a versatile IT professional with more than 12 years of industry experience. He has an excellent track record in transforming concepts to real products. His past successes include Core Processing System (CPU), an early CORBA-based version of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) platform; MoneylineConnect, a financial data infrastructure; and Stringbeans, an open source portal servers compatible with JSR-168 portlet standard. Padmanabh has published several journal and online articles. He is currently serving on the expert group working on JSR 286 Portlet 2.0 standard. Padmanabh has a PhD from Stanford University, MS from Clemson University, and B.Tech from Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai.
