Spigit Innovation Summit 2010 to feature Andrew McAfee and Charlene Li

We’re pleased to announce the 2010 Spigit Innovation Summit. The summit will be held August 19-20 at the Ritz Carlton in Half Moon Bay, CA. This event allows Spigit’s customers to meet one another, connect and discuss best practices around driving innovation. This is our second event, following up on last year’s successful summit.

We’re also going to allow a limited number of non-Spigit customers to attend the summit. It’s a great chance to talk with actual innovation practitioners as you consider your own objectives around innovation, community and social software. You’ll also get a chance to hear from two leading lights in the world of social software:

  • Andrew McAfee
  • Charlene Li

andrew mcafeeAndrew McAfee is currently a principal research scientist at the Center for Digital Business in the MIT Sloan School of Management, and a fellow at the Harvard’s Berkman Center for Internet and Society. He is author of Enterprise 2.0: New Collaborative Tools for Your Organization’s Toughest Challenges. He is a leader in thinking about Enterprise 2.0, engaging people through his blog and Twitter account.

charlene liCharlene Li is the founder of Altimeter Group. Altimeter Group provides thought leadership, research, and consulting on digital strategies, with a core focus on how companies can leverage disruptive technologies. She is co-author of the best-selling business book, Groundswell: Winning in a World Transformed by Social Technologies. Charlene is a frequently-quoted expert and has appeared on 60 Minutes, The McNeil NewsHour, ABC News, CNN, and CNBC. She was previously an analyst with Forrester Research for nearly 8 years. She also engages the market through theAltimeter Group blog and Twitter account.
