With just 79 days left until this year’s Spigit Ignite Summit, we’re excited to announce our first round of top-notch speakers. Last year, over 140 leaders from globally recognized companies like IBM, AT&T, MetLife, Cigna, PwC, Unitedhealth Group, Siemens, Estee Lauder and more gathered at our Boston Summit to share new ideas, challenges, and findings resulting from their own innovation programs. Through in-depth conversations, insightful presentations, and exclusive interviews, attendees left with fresh take on what successful innovation looks like and how they could make it a core part of their organizational DNA.
The 2016 Summit is sure to be even more impactful and inspiring. Take a peek below at three of this year’s speakers from leading companies in the pharmaceuticals, insurance, and engineering consultancy industries.
Jeremy Johnson, President & CEO at Lexington Insurance (Keynote Speaker)
This year’s keynote speaker, Jeremy Johnson, comes to us from one of the world’s most notorious innovation hubs: New York City. Mr. Johnson is the President and CEO of Lexington Insurance Company, a member of AIG. Prior to this role, he held a variety of critical positions at AIG, including Specialty Product Line Executive, President of Cat Excess Liability, and Executive for Energy Excess Casualty. Since joining AIG in 2000, Mr. Johnson has held positions of increasing responsibility in underwriting and Sales & Marketing, including Regional Vice President for the Mid-Atlantic territory and a number of roles in the Boston regional office. Prior to joining AIG, Mr. Johnson worked as a directors and officers liability broker for Sedgwick, Inc. and Marsh, Inc. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Law from Oxford University.
“Being successful in this arena stems from teamwork, talent, passion, and expertise.” – J. Johnson
Wendy Mayer, VP of Innovation at Pfizer, Inc.
Wendy Mayer, who also spoke at Spigit Ignite 2015, is Vice President of Worldwide Innovation for Pfizer. She is responsible for driving innovative ideas and thinking across the organization through the identification of transformative and disruptive innovation platforms that can be leveraged across the business, as well as through the development of capabilities and culture that will support continued innovation throughout the organization. Her extensive history with Pfizer includes roles as Interim Connecticut State Director, Primary Care; VP of Clinical Trial Excellence, Lead Quality Management System; and VP of Specialty Care Market Analytics. Mayer holds an MBA from Cornell University.
“What’s driving that is the market is changing. The government is changing. The financing of healthcare is changing. Customer engagement is changing. You can cut back, but we often say that you need to do more with less, or do less with less, but either way, you have less. But you can only do that so far and we’ve come to the realization that we need to do things differently.” – W. Mayer
Joshua Shuki Einstein, Director of Innovation at CH2M
Shuki Einstein is the Global Director of Technology and Innovation at CH2M, helping to ignite a catalytic platform that will enable our clients to thrive through intense technological and sustainable collaboration. Big ideas, a sense of wonder, and curiosity have been his trademark since youth, and 25 years of working in design and construction in the global built environment have shown him that it takes great teams and great clients to make dreams come true. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the Israel Institute of Technology.
“I continue to be enamored with the power of technical collaboration, when skilled individuals apply themselves to a vision bigger than themselves.” – S. Einstein
